Case Management

Black Women Revolt Against Domestic Violence’s Case Management Team is dedicated to supporting Black women and their families with navigating support systems to close educational, health, and wealth gaps that survivors often experience on their road to healing and self-sufficiency.

Education and Training

Black Women Revolt Against Domestic Violence’s staff are available to train community partners, the general public, and survivors. We offer the following trainings:

  • 44-Hour DV Advocate Training

  • DV 101 - What is Domestic Violence

  • Healthy Relationships

  • Helping Survivors of Domestic Abuse

  • Employment Protections for Survivors of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking

  • Safety Planning for Domestic Violence Survivors

  • Supporting Black Survivors of Domestic Violence

  • Healthy Relationships for Teens (Coming Soon)

  • Teen Dating Violence 101 (Coming Soon)

In addition to these topics, training can be customized to address specific audiences to discuss the historical context of how Black women experience and navigate domestic violence, and Black maternal and infant health outcomes and domestic violence.

Legal Services

Black Women Against Domestic Violence has an attorney on staff to assist our clients with restraining orders in cooperation with the Cooperative Restraining Order Clinic (CROC). We also provide other legal assistance and referrals.

Mobile Health Bus

Black Women Revolt Against Domestic Violence is excited to announce the arrival of Mobile Health Services in collaboration with Ruby’s Place and funded by CalOES. Starting later this year, this two-year project aims to increase health equity and access in District 10. Services will include Covid-19 boosters, Covid-19 testing, and general health and mental health services.
