Michelle Sison

Dr. Michelle Sison (she/hers) currently serves as a nurse leader at UCSF Health and has experience across multiple Bay Area health systems. Born and raised in San Francisco, she has also lived in Spain twice, experiences that have strengthened her appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives.

As the daughter of immigrant parents and a person with a hidden disability, Dr. Sison is passionate about expanding opportunities for underserved and advocating for greater inclusion and accessibility. She is committed to advancing the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) profession through professional development and recognition of the vital role CNAs play in delivering quality patient care.

Dr. Sison has participated in international medical missions serving underserved communities. As an Advisory Board Member for Black Women Revolt Against Domestic Violence, she hopes to leverage her healthcare leadership and advocacy experience to support the community, bridge gaps in care and resources, and advance health equity, healing, safety, and opportunity for survivors and their families.
