Melody Hernandez (she/hers) is the founder/principal consultant at Root Reach Rise Inc., a San Francisco-based firm with a focus on fund development and strategic impact. For over a decade, Melody has been helping primarily small-to-mid sized nonprofits secure the resources they need to build, maintain, sustain, and/or grow by securing grant funds. Over this time, Melody has raised over $50 million dollars on behalf of nonprofit clients, the bulk of which represents first time funding for programs or organizations. Outside of work, Melody enjoys hiking, gardening, art, and game nights with friends.
