Jaida Manuel Jaida Manuel is a San Francisco Bay Area native. She graduated from Dillard University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. Throughout her college career, she interned and volunteered at a number of different, organizations including the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office in the Felony Domestic Violence Unit.
While at the DA’s office, she developed the skills of being an effective advocate that she plans to implement in her role as the Survivor Success Specialist with Black Women Revolt Against Domestic Violence. Her duties as the Survivor Success Specialist include providing community awareness in regard to Black Women Revolt Against Domestic Violence and its services as well as safety planning with survivors to navigate their intimate relationships. As a Black woman and as someone who was indirectly affected by domestic violence, she is honored to work with Black Women Revolt Against Domestic Violence to be an advocate and agent for change for people living in domestic violence situations.
