Iris R. Martin Lopez (she/her) is a San Francisco native from the Ingleside-Lakeview neighborhood.  As the granddaughter of two women who survived domestic violence, she was taught by her mother and paternal grandmother that men don’t hit women and that no one should ever accept abuse. Those values shaped her lifelong commitment to advocacy and service.

Today, as Founder and CEO of IRML Consulting, Iris works alongside public agencies, private organizations, and community partners to expand opportunity, strengthen small businesses, and empower underserved communities.
