Love Like That: #TDVAM2024 Event

  • 401 Van Ness Avenue San Francisco, CA, 94102 United States (map)

February is nationally recognized as Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month (TDVAM). Everyone deserves a healthy relationship, but nearly 1 in 3 teens or young adults report experiencing teen dating violence. Together we can change that!

Black Women Revolt Against Domestic Violence will be hosting the "Love Like That'' TDVAM 2024 Event on Sunday, February 4th, 2024 from 12 Noon - 4:00 PM. Youth (14 - 24) and their allies will learn about healthy relationships, how to recognize unhealthy dating behaviors, set digital boundaries, and what resources are available for youth in San Francisco, CA.

The in-person event will be held in The Wilsey Education Studio of the San Francisco War Memorial Veterans Building at 401 Van Ness Ave, San Francisco, CA 94102 from 12 Noon to 4:00 PM. The venue can be reached via public transit including: Civic Center Station MUNI and BART, the 5, 9/9R, and 49 MUNI bus lines. Boxed lunch will be provided.

Youth (14 - 24) who attend the entire program are eligible for a $25 gift card. Participating students may earn community service hours depending upon their school’s criteria.

Additionally, entries in BWRADV Teen DVAM 2024 Art Contest “Imagination Unleashed '' will be displayed and winners will be announced. Entries to the Art Contest will be accepted through Friday, January 12th at 6:00 PM. For more information, please contact info@blackwomenrevolt.org.
