Communities thrive when solutions are led by those who know them best. This month, our Crucial Conversation celebrates Indigenous leadership in health and survivor advocacy, highlighting the power of culturally rooted care to transform lives and generations.
We are honored to welcome Virginia Hedrick, MPH (Yurok), Executive Director of the California Consortium for Urban Indian Health (CCUIH). Under Virginia’s guidance, CCUIH is advancing a bold vision for Urban Native communities: one where health equity, survivor support, and cultural wellness go hand in hand.
Join us as we explore how CCUIH is creating healing pathways that center Native identity, reclaim care systems, and build stronger, safer communities for all.
