Crucial Conversations: Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice & SF Black Wall Street

As you may know, Black domestic violence survivors face not only abuse from their perpetrators but also economic challenges perpetuated by societal injustices, which can trap them in cycles of abuse and hinder access to support systems.

That’s why, for the month of Juneteenth, we’re proud to host Tinisch Hollins, the Executive Director of Californians for Safety and Justice and the Co-Founder of San Francisco Black Wall Street, as our esteemed guest speaker. A survivor herself, Tinisch advocates for underrepresented crime survivors and has testified before the California legislature on several occasions to expand services. She currently serves on the San Francisco African American Reparations Advisory Committee as well as the San Quentin Transformation Advisory Council, demonstrating her commitment to building equitable communities and promoting rehabilitation over incarceration.
