Crucial Conversations: Bayview Hunters Point Foundation

Did you know that May is Mental Health Awareness Month? According to the American Psychiatric Association, “20% of (Domestic Violence) survivors develop mental health conditions.”  

That’s why, for May’s Crucial Conversations, we are proud to announce our partnership with the Bayview Hunters Point Foundation, an organization right here in our community that is deeply committed to empowering and assisting disadvantaged individuals in achieving healthy and independent living through a range of essential services.

In this event, they’ll share insights into their transformative work, including outpatient mental health services, substance abuse services, residential and homeless services, and the remarkable Jelani House, a transitional housing center.
